Alles Grafisch! exhibition at CBKU

June 8 - July 1 2012

Ondine de Kroon, one of the artists who has participated in our Moving Targets events, is currently curating the amazing exhibition ALLES GRAFISCH! at the CBKU in Utrecht, the Netherlands.

This "ALL GRAPHIC!" show investigates the boundaries of printmaking and shows the diversity of unorthodox use of the graphical techniques, ranging from an alphabet in linoleum cut, installations with etchings and so-called Windowprinting to animation films in lino, artist's books and screenprint on t-shirts.

It clearly shows that printing is not dead, it's re-inventing itself. Unfortunately this show will be the last one at CBKU, because it has to close down due to lack of funds.
However, it also shows that the famous Printing Studios (Grafisch Atelier Utrecht) which are part of CBKU should not close. The best way to make a plea for the survival of art facilities like the GAU is creating and showing good art, and that's what Ondine de Kroon does at CBKU.

Participating artists: Randy Beker, Karin Bos, Arjenne Fakkel, Thijs Ebbe Fokkens, Stefan Hoffmann, Marianne Kaars, Scott Minzy, Gijs van Noort, Jos de L’Orme, Gemma Plum, Jurriaan Rexwinkel, Ewoud van Rijn, Tijs Rooijakkers, SAGE, Tomiyuki Sakuta, Sjeng Schupp en Michiel van Dijk, Lennard Schuurmans, Inez Smit, Studio AIRPORT, Ilse Versluijs, Wilma Vissers, Lennart Wolfert en Sun Xun.
